Language in contacts app changes automatically

When i open contact book in my Google Pixle mobile, the application shows contact name & number in some unknown language. However my preferred language  i have selected is English language.

I am attaching screen shots for same.

This doesn't look like an issue with localization nor with Chrome but rather for Android. Is this issue still persistent?
