google weather does not update time when accessed from iPhone 6S on Chrome

Reported by anwargha...@gmail.com, Dec 2 2016

Issue description

Device Type: iPhone 6S
URLs (if applicable): google weather

Behavior in Chrome:
when i scroll to different dates and times, the new temperature is shown but the date does not update. The ending result becomes an incorrect temperature/time combination

Steps to reproduce:
(1) type google weather on your iphone 6S in chrome
(2) scroll to a different time of the day or to a different date
(3)

Expected result:
I would expect the date and the time to change as i'm scrolling - along with the new temperature.
The correct behavior is the one that you observe when you do the same steps from a windows PC

Actual result:
when you do that on an iPhone 6S in Chrome, you will see that the date and time are not updating but the temperature is.

Copying from other bug:

See screenshot attached. The time should say 4AM or similar, but it says 10AM (current time).

Safari, the Google App, and Firefox do not have this issue.
When using the Safari UA in Chrome, this problem still exists.

Broken in ios_web_shell, works fine in test WKWebView app. Mike, could you please take a look. Safari remote debugger can be helpful here.

Seems to work fine on my 5S with M54, iOS 9.1.
Screenshot in #3 was from M54 stable, M56 canary on a 6S with 10.1 beta.
i am unable to repro this on iPhone 6Plus iOS 10.2 on build 55.0.2883.79 Stable , 56.0.2924.14 dev

Status: Fixed (was: Assigned)
I can see this on (old) 55.0.2883.42 beta, but not on 55.0.2883.79 stable, 57.0.2936.0 dev, 57.0.2947.0 canary. Seems to have been fixed?
I'm not sure what all of this stuff means and if the fixed solution was
rolled out but the problem is still there...
@anwarghauche:

What iOS version and Chrome Version (Settings > Google Chrome) are you using?
Latest iOS and chrome 5.0.4
Is that iOS 10.2?
Can you type "chrome://version" in the search box and either take a screenshot or write down what the version number at the top is? Thanks.
