Regression : Flickering of selection highlight on text is seen in devtools.

OS: Windows(7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.11.6, 10.12.1)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch chrome, navigate to NTP and open devtools and open console drawer by pressing 'Esc' key
2. Now type any text under console and press 'Enter' key such that error messages are displayed.
3. Now select the error messages using mouse cursor and try to slowly drag the 'Console' drawer up/down using mouse pointer,observe the selection highlight.

Actual: Flickering of selection highlight on text is seen when 'console' drawer is dragged up/down with mouse pointer
Expected: Flickering of selection highlight on text should not be seen when 'console' drawer is dragged up/down with mouse pointer

This is regression issue, broken in ‘M 55’ and will soon update other info :
Good build:55.0.2862.0

Unable to reproduce the issue on mac 10.12.2 chrome version 57.0.2969.0 and 56.0.2924.28

 mnikam@, Could you please recheck on latest versions and update the thread

Rechecked the above issue on Mac OS with latest canary chrome version : 57.0.2969.0 and the issue is not reproducible.
