ASUS Flip C100PA

Reported by kging...@gmail.com, Dec 2 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version : 56.0.2920.0
  Platform 8992.1.0 (Official Build) dev-channel veyron_minnie
  ARC Version 3477227
  Firmware Google_Veyron_Minnie.6588.197.0
  OS Version: 8992.1.0

URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested: none - Chromebook
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
     Safari 5:
  Firefox 4.x:
     IE 7/8/9:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. use the Chrome Recovery Utility to build a USB drive
2. use the USB drive to recover a Chromebook

What is the expected result?
A USB key is built and is used to recover the Chromebook

What happens instead of that?
A error is displayed re unable to unzip the downloaded file and the USB drive is never created
Hence it is impossible to recover this Chromebook.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

UserAgentString: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; CrOS armv7l 8992.1.0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2920.0 Safari/537.36

This was tried on different internet sources, using different USB keys (wiped first with the Chrome Utility) and differnet computers but using the identifier for my ASUS FLIP - MINNIE F25-R2F-Q4G-A4G - in the utility.

I always only got the error before a USB drive was ever created

Another user has confirmed this behavior on 3 different Chromebooks.

Chrome Recovery Utility "Unable to Unzip file" ChromeOS 56.0.2925.110.
https://goo.gl/rrHkJS

"The image is downloaded, the image is verified, then the program goes to 'unpacking'. It usually goes all the way to 100% and then I get the error listed in the title:
"Unable to unzip the file. Please try again."

...None of my flash drives are SanDisk, two are Kingston and one is a Verbatum all of which have worked in the past for creating recovery flash drives. I have used the Verbatum flash drives, but this one is brand new, I opened the package, pulled out the USB drive and threw the packaging away."

The fix will be in chrome 57 stable. I just cherry picked the fix into 57 beta recently.
