Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_1) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.98 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Visit the following URL which generates sound using the Web Audio API -- https://nerdpiano.com/Ha900159HaHb900239HbHc900399HcHd900479HdHe900599HehbHb52Ha52hbhbHc92544592524957Hd925056Hb00hbHc925447925250925950He925749hbHd924964925761Ha92525759925257He925056925054Hc925462Hb925462He925261924957925059924957 2. Switch to a different browser tab before the song finishes What is the expected behavior? The sound either needs to pause until the tab becomes active again or play exactly the same as when the tab is active. What went wrong? The sound used to stop completely until the browser tab became active again but due to a recent update it started playing random bits of noise when the tab is in an inactive state. Did this work before? Yes not sure Chrome version: 54.0.2840.98 Channel: n/a OS Version: OS X 10.12.1 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 might be related to this bug -- https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=645776 |
