Play Store not resuming correct app

Reported by egr...@gmail.com, Dec 1 2016

Issue description

Steps to reproduce the problem:
0. Kill Play Store
1. Visit https://evangelosg.github.io on your Android Device
2. Click Viboapp -> Viboapp loads on play store
3. Select a new app on play store.
4. Resume github website, click Viboapp again, Play Store does not navigate to Viboapp but instead resumes the previous listing.
5. Note that this does not apply to my BMF link. I have seen this issue over the past year randomly affect different apps and I never know why.

What is the expected behavior?
Expected behavior is that the Viboapp should be navigated to in the Play Store every time, regardless of whether or not the Play Store is running in the background.

What went wrong?
Instead of navigating to the correct app, if the play store is already running, clicking Viboapp (market://details?id=com.ionicframework.viboapp) resumes the last selected/viewed app in the Play Store.

Did this work before? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? N/A

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.98 Channel: stable
OS Version: Any
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

I've seen this happen with a few apps over the past year, and I'm never sure why it happens, it comes and goes with different apps!

Thanks for your report! Is this issue related to Chrome on Android?

Yep!
Status: WontFix (was: Unconfirmed)
This is not a chrome bug, I am seeing same behavior on other browsers as well. If it is Android playstore bug can you file it from Playstore>Help and feedback>Send feedback.

Submitted this feedback to the Play Store as well, I was hoping you would know a better route. I reported their episodes of Community being out of order about 6 months ago, still out of order :p. Thank you for testing this out and getting back to me, I truly appreciate it. At least I can show the Play Store peeps that someone from Chrome reproduced the issue! Happy holidays.
