Regression : Device screen abruptly goes off on searching in Guest mode chrome://md-settings page

Chrome Version: 57.0.2937.0/9038.0.0 daisy,Candy and Cyan
OS: Chrome

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1)Browse as guest ->Go to chrome://md-settings page
(2)Now type anything in search box and observe (Please refer Video)

Expected: Search results page should be displayed 
Actual: Instead Device screen abruptly goes off andthen New tab page is seen in Guest Mode

This is Regression issue as same is working fine in chrome://settings page i.e. Search results page is seen

Note: This seems like a crash but no crash id is seen in chrome://crashes.

Issue is also seen on M-55 Beta Build(55.0.2883.76/8872.65.0)

I am guessing this was crashing, we had a bug causing md-settings to crash in Guest mode, but it appears to be fixed in 57.
