//chrome has a bunch of autofill heuristic files that look very similar to the files we have in the ios repo. Instead of making a separate copy in //ios, can we move the existing files and reuse them?
thestig's out on paternity leave but I believe the reason he didn't do this when he was working on improving the heuristics tests a while back is that while the files are very similar, the iOS JS code produces different results in some cases. He was planning to switch to the upstream copies once all the differences were resolved but we never got to that point.
On the other hand, the heuristics tests don't all pass on iOS right now anyway, they're not maintained, and they're not run automatically.
But on the third hand, there was a thread about this recently and pinkerton said he was working with the MON autofill team to identify someone to work on these tests.
