Issue descriptionChromeOS Version: 8992.0.0 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Sign in to the device. (2) Switch between VT2 and VT1 What is the expected result? Display should work properly. What happens instead? Most of the times display corrupted after switching between VT1 and VT2 Please use labels and text to provide additional information. The display P2314T (Dell Make) is on direct HDMI port (no adapter). The monitor is touch capable, but the touch input is not connected at this time.

I dont think touch has anything to do with it. Looks like Chrome flips to a tiled buffer buffer but tiling is not enabled in display regs. dnicoara recently has made a change in Chrome that may fix it https://codereview.chromium.org/2498103002/ Does the build you are testing include it?

Ninja is a chromebox not currently hooked up to an external monitor in lab, and so is failing graphics_VTSwitch. Is this issue still present? |
