sontis@, can this be reproduced with different external display? The display used in the bug is P2314T.
What display port (HDMI or DP) is used?
What input on the monitor is used?
Do you use any adapter?

I remember a similar issue when connecting with HDMI-DVI adapter.

The display P2314T (Dell Make) is on direct HDMI port (no adapter). The monitor is touch capable, but the touch input is not connected at this time.

I dont think touch has anything to do with it.
Looks like Chrome flips to a tiled buffer buffer but tiling is not enabled in display regs.
dnicoara recently has made a change in Chrome that may fix it https://codereview.chromium.org/2498103002/
Does the build you are testing include it?
Ninja is a chromebox not currently hooked up to an external monitor in lab, and so is failing graphics_VTSwitch. Is this issue still present?
