Audio and page tab hangs after a minute of so of playback (currently only identified on bandcamp)

Reported by pkan...@albany.edu, Nov 30 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/57.0.2937.0 Safari/537.36

Example URL:
https://niyaz.bandcamp.com/album/sumud

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open album page in BandCamp.
2. Select a track to play.
3. Wait.

What is the expected behavior?
Music on the page should play until the last track on the page is played.

What went wrong?
After a minute or two of audio play, the music stops and the page freezes. Shortest freeze so far was 50 seconds. Longest time to freeze so far is 3 minutes.

Once frozen, page cannot be reloaded, nor navigated away from. Tab becomes non-responsive and close button has to be selected repeatedly to close the tab.

Did this work before? Yes Prior versions of Canary, current version of Chrome (54.0.2840.99 m)

Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? N/A

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 57.0.2937.0 Channel: canary
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0

Flushed the history after first instance to see if it was a weird cookie v. version change thing. SoundCloud unaffected. Other streaming services not yet tested.

Works in Chrome (54.0.2840.99), this is specific to Canary.

I was able to reproduce the crash on Windows-10 and based on crash id generated 49d70b5f00000000. This looks similar to Issue 670202, hence merging into that.

Devs are working to fix the issue and we will soon have an update.

(And yes, I just clicked the spam flag a few times because I misunderstood the icon, thinking it might be a different sort of flag.)
