Android System WebView shows blank white pages

THIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB
BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE!

Device name: Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000
Android version: 6.0.1 MM
WebView version (from system settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView): 55.0.2883.63
Application: Gmail, Inbox, Outlook, any mail client
Application version:

URLs (if applicable):



Steps to reproduce:

Expected result: Show mail content


Actual result: Gmail only shows mail title. The content of the mail shows as blank white screen. Also HTML viewer shows me blank white screen when I open text files.

Thanks for reporting this issue. Can you please check with the latest system webview version available on the play store and let us know if you still see this issue?
