Hello

This is working as intended. In 7.0 chrome (monochrome) provides the webview functionality, and the webview package is disabled. If you disable chrome, webview will be enabled, and start receiving updates. But in the default situation (which you're currently in), when you receive a chrome update, you also implicitly receive a webview update.

Please file a new report if you see any issues with Android Webview. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. My play store is not working properly. Couldn't download or update any applications. Tried factory reset, clearing the cache.
