What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) running an audit on my site [masterdemolitioninc.com]
What is the expected result?
all (or at least most) elements pass accessibility color contrast rule.
What happens instead?
several elements get incorrectly flagged as not having enough contrast. the particular elements are using #007BED for the background and #FFF for the text. Checking this on [accessible-colors.com] reveals that it does pass AA but not AAA. This more detailed result would be helpful if shown in lighthouse rather just outright failing.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

Tagging with current canary milestone.

Able to reproduce the issue on the latest canary(57.0.2937.0) and the latest stable(54.0.2840.99/98/100) of Windows-10, Mac OS 10.11.6 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04. Marking this as Untriaged as the Lighthouse extension requires <M-54 chrome versions to add from CWS.

It seems like this is not actually an extensions platform issue, but rather an issue in the extension code itself. Passing off to paulirish for further triage who seems to be a frequent contributor according to: https://github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse/graphs/contributors

thanks asargent. the correct place to report this bug is https://github.com/GoogleChrome/lighthouse/issues however we'd actually tell you that upstream is here: https://github.com/dequelabs/axe-core/ Their chrome extension should be offering the same results you are getting via lighthouse. see screenshot. If you get diff results via their extension and lighthouse then its our bug and we'd love to discuss it more on our github. Cheers!

I don't think this does pass AA, anyway: http://leaverou.github.io/contrast-ratio/#white-on-%23007BED |
