Able to reproduce the issue on the latest canary(57.0.2935.0) on Windows-10. Works fine on Mac OS 10.11.6 with the same chrome version.
Status: WontFix (was: Assigned)
Fixed pos objects repeat on each page of a paged medium so this is expected behaviour.
