address line and tabs reappear after cmd-tab

Reported by vkir.i...@gmail.com, Nov 28 2016

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_9_5) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.98 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a youtube video and put it into full-screen mode (the youtube full-screen, not MacOs native fullscreen)
2. Cmd-tab to a different app
3. Cmd-tab back and address line and tabs pop-up on top of the screen

What is the expected behavior?
Should cmd-tab back normally

What went wrong?
Address line and tabs are not hidden after cmd-tab

Did this work before? Yes Not sure

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.98 Channel: stable
OS Version: OS X 10.9.5
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

No issue in latest version of Canary, so my guess is that the blame is with the Flash 23 (Canary uses 24)

Tested on Mac 10.11.6 and mac 10.12.1 using chrome stable M54 #54.0.2840.98 and issue is not reproduced.

@vkir.itep-- Could you please check with fresh install and new profile without any extensions , if you can still able to reproduce the issue or not.

Attached screencast for reference.

Thanks!

Cannot reproduce in 56.0.2921.0 on 10.12.2 beta either.

Is there a nice way of doing a clean install while retaining all your saved information (including browser history etc.)? By the way, the bug is still there if I just log out/ launch incognito mode.

Try disabling the extensions from chrome://extensions before installing a new chrome version. Some extensions may interfere in normal browsing experience.

You can backup user data folder and try a fresh chrome installation.
