Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.99 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: * Open new tabs with CTRL + T or from another way. * When you open new tab you can see that tab size is smaller and smaller. What is the expected behavior? What went wrong? * When you open many tabs you see that "close" button in new opened ACTIVE tab is bigger than tabsize(screen1) * When you switch tabs - tabsize will change and "close" button is placed normal. *If you close tabs with CTRL + W - problem will repeat. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.99 Channel: stable OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2) Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 This is very small visual bug)

Able to reproduce the issue on windows-7 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome stable version 54.0.2840.99 and latest canary 57.0.2936.0 with the steps mentioned above. This is non-regression issue observed from M-30#30.0.1599.0 . Hence marking it as Untriaged to get it addressed. Please find the attached screencast. Issue not observed in Mac 10.11.6 Thanks.

And if you keep opening tabs, the x completely disappears and you can't properly navigate tabs anymore. It then looks like this:
