Casting to a new device |
||||
Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.100 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have a cast device online 2. Click "cast" button 3. Device is visible 4. Disconnect the device from WiFi (by turning it on, for example) and reconnect it 5. Click "Cast" button again 6. The device is invisible to cast. Chrome needs to be restarted to make it visible again What is the expected behavior? The device should be visible after step 5 What went wrong? Once a device is turned off or accidentally drops off the internet, it stops being visible. I have some WiFi interference in the house, and if my cast speaker (LG MusicFlow H4) drops off, I have to restart Chrome to make it visible again. Did this work before? N/A Chrome version: 54.0.2840.100 Channel: stable OS Version: OpenSuse Leap 42.1 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0 It would be really useful to have a "rescan" button, much like for wifi network apps.

I could not repro this on a Mac or Win machine using a Chromecast device or an LG Musicflow device. I haven't confirmed on Linux. Chrome stable: 54.0.2840.98
