Regression: Browser does not change omnibox URL according to page on MD Settings page.

Chrome Version: 57.0.2929.3 Revision 3619fbd7f57a1d171fac4d4adedde499f17eec95-refs/branch-heads/2929@{#3} 
OS: Windows (7,8,8.1,10),Linux (14.04 LTS),Mac OS X(10.10.5, 10.11.4)

Pre-condition: Enabled Enable Material Design settings flag from chrome://flags.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome, navigate to chrome://help then navigate to 'People' section from 'Menu menu'.
(2) Observe the page and omnibox url.

Actual: Browser does not change omnibox URL according to page..

Expected: Browser should change omnibox URL according to page..

This is a regression issue, broken in 'M-55', will soon update the other info:

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results,
Good Build: 54.0.2805.0(revision:407311)
Bad Build: 54.0.2809.0(revision:408012)

You are probably looking for a change made after 407831 (known good), but no later than 407832 (first known bad).

The script might not always return single CL as suspect as some perf builds might get missing due to failure.

Still we are able to reproduce the same issue on Windows 7 with latest chrome version-57.0.2936.0.

Sorry, I missed this earlier as it was filed over the holiday.

dbeam@, do you have a sense for what might be going wrong here?  This sounds similar to previous bugs we've seen on the MD Settings page.
