I couldn't install my own recovery images onto my device until I rekeyed the device to use developer keys. However, running make_dev_firmware.sh resulted in an error due to TPM rollback prevention and it said that I needed to reset the TPM. Attempts at resetting the tpm both manually and with recovery installations failed to solve this problem and I kept getting the error. With assistance, it finally worked when the script was edited on the device to skip the check that was causing the error. Though that worked as a work around, editing the script to skip a check isn't really a solution.
