Issue description

Chrome Version (from the about:version page): 54.0.2840.100 (64-bit)
Is this the most recent version: yes
OS + version: goobuntu

Window manager: i3wm
URLs (if relevant): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/R%C3%A9nyi_entropy
Behavior in Linux Firefox: similar behavior
Behavior in Windows Chrome (if you have access to it):

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) open the URL provided
(2) <Ctrl-f> to find the word "alpha", without quotation marks
(3) <Ctrl-g> or <Enter> does not show that many found.

What is the expected result?
The number of occurrence of "alpha" is far less than the shown 51 times

What happens instead?
It seems that chrome is searching also the hidden content.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot
