Use html5 tag to check e-mail and the prompt doesn't disappear.

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.19 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. <input type="email"></input>
2. Enter an incorrect e-mail address
3. Chrome says this e-mail is incorrect
3. Close current tab page
4. The prompt will not disappear until exit chrome

What is the expected behavior?

You only mentioned <input type=email> - is it at least surrounded by a <form> and a submit button and you click on the submit button/enter?
Because if not, you should not even see a validation message...

Could you please provide a screenshot, image, or test file that we could use to see the problem you are having. Also, please use the Canary or dev builds and see if it is fixed in one of those versions.
