Issue descriptionChrome Version: 57.0.2929.0 (Official Build) d78075be67a3ee6520d1f8377cd69b478ebdf5ee-refs/heads/master@{#434071} 32/64 Bit. OS: Windows (7,8,10), Mac (10.11.6, 10.12.1), Linux (14.04 LTS) Steps: 1. Launch chrome and navigate to chrome://md-settings/autofill 2. Click on 'Add address' >> 'Street address' and type any long text such that cursor reaches to the next line. 3. Observe the size of cursor. Actual: Size of the cursor changes when it reaches the next line. Expected: Size of the cursor should not change. This is a non-regression issue seen from M-54 build no. 54.0.2796.2, as 'Add address' overlay is added from the mentioned build.

i'm not quite sure the bug here because i think the terminology being used is confusing. do you not expect addresses to be more than 1 line?

The line height is different for the first line than it is for the other lines. This makes the cursor look bigger when it's not on that line.

Yeah, seems like this is a property of line-height. Not sure there's much we can do.
