Regression: Search result of 'MD-settings' page is not getting updated in the find in box.

Issue description

Chrome Version: 57.0.2928.0 Revision 61ab768cc656a8bef5e8f08972d0f58a74f89c83-refs/heads/master@{#433845} 
OS: Windows(7,8,10)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome, navigate to chrome://md-settings page.
(2) Type 'Reset' in search field(Search result will appear),click on 'Reset' section(Reset overlay appears)
(3) Now press Ctrl+F, types Report word in it,then close reset overlay and click on find in box.
(4) Observe

Actual: Search result is not getting updated in the find in box.

Expected: Search result should be get updated in the find in box.

This is a regression issue, will soon update the other info:

Good Build: 54.0.2833.0
Bad Build: 54.0.2834.0

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results,
Good build: 54.0.2833.0 (Revision: 413134).
Bad build: 54.0.2834.0 (Revision: 413272).

You are probably looking for a change made after 413166 (known good), but no later than 413167 (first known bad).

Issue is still seen in Mac Os 10.11.6 using chrome canary M57 #57.0.2942.0 .

Seems like this isn't an issue with MD Settings but instead the find-in-page functionality. Please re-assign if there's anything we need to change on MD Settings.

Issue is still seen in Mac Os 10.12.2 using chrome canary M57 #57.0.2983.0 .
