"Reset Pose" doesn't work on WebVR sample pages

Project Member Reported by vsupruniuk@google.com, Nov 22 2016

Issue description

Version:Chrome Canary 57.0.2926.0
OS: Android 7.1
Test device: Pixel

Reproduction steps:
1. Access https://webvr.info/samples/03-vr-presentation.html?polyfill=0 on the test device
2. Rotate the device vertically until it is completely vertical (i.e. the screen is directly in front of the user and not rotated)
3. Turn the test device right or left until the FPS display is no longer in view, approximately 90 degrees
4. Select the “Reset Pose” button

Expected result:
Content’s view should be updated so that the FPS display is now centered.

Nothing happens when "Reset Pose" is tapped.

I also find this during the test. If nobody take this, I'd like to investigate it.

To be clear, this happens only when the device is not in a headset, yes?
Currently the Reset Pose button should only work on Cardboard (which is itself currently broken). The Daydream API explicitly disallows resetting the pose through anything other than long-pressing the home button on the controller.

If we want to fake a pose reset by applying an offset we generate to the head pose, we can potentially do that. However, I don't think we should.

If there's a compelling reason to fake a pose reset, feel free to reopen this, but this is working as intended and probably should not be fixed.
