Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.99 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Enter this in the Developer Tools on this page -
var css = 'body { transform: rotate(10deg) }';
var style = document.createElement('style');
style.innerHTML = someCSS;
style.disabled = true;
document.head.appendChild(style);
What is the expected behavior?
The style sheet is not applied to the document. The page does not rotate.
What went wrong?
The style sheet is applied to the document. The page rotates.
Did this work before? N/A
Does this work in other browsers? Yes
Chrome version: 54.0.2840.99 Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)
Flash Version:
I tested Internet Explorer 11. It behaves as expected.

Confirmed. Lower priority because 'disabled' IDL attribute is not standardized.

Oops. Corrected code (though you figured it out already) -
var css = 'body { transform: rotate(10deg) }';
var style = document.createElement('style');
style.innerHTML = css;
style.disabled = true;
document.head.appendChild(style);
Firefox behaves like Chrome.
I file an HTML issue for the missing attribute -

The issue (in comment#3, github #2092) was merged to https://github.com/whatwg/html/issues/1081 and is still open. Once the upstream bug is settled and precisely specified, someone can take this.
