Certificate viewer hangs browser when certificate contains lots of SANs

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_12_0) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2924.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Visit https://www.theguardian.com/international
2. Open the certificate viewer
3. Click on details in the certificate viewer to get full details

What is the expected behavior?
Response browsers

What went wrong?
The entire browser UI hangs for >5 seconds

Did this work before? N/A 

Chrome version: 56.0.2924.0  Channel: canary
OS Version: OS X 10.12.0

"What is the expected behavior" should be "Responsive browser UI".

Tested the issue on chrome Stable #54.0.2840.98, Canary 56.0.2926.0 in Mac 10.12 and was able to reproduce the issue.

Developer Tools>>Security>>Certificate viewer feature introduced in M48.

This is a Non-Regression issue since seeing this from M48 #48.0.2560.0, Making the status to Untriaged so that the issue would get addressed.

Note : 
1.Not Able to reproduce the issue in win 10.0 and Linux Ubuntu 14.04.
2.This is specific to MAC 10.12 version.
