Autocomplete does not work on updated WebView

Issue descriptionSteps to reproduce the problem: On a simple WebView app 1. Login to Facebook 2. Logout from Facebook 3. Try to input login id of Facebook 4-1. Autocomplete work(Ver.46.0.2490.76) 4-2. Autocomplete does not work(Ver.54.0.2840.85) What is the expected behavior? Autocomplete also work on updated WebView. What went wrong? Autocomplete work on Ver.46.0.2490.76 but it does not work on Ver.54.0.2840.85 ※UA Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus Player Build/MOB30G; wv; C02AS) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Chrome/50.0.2661.86 Mobile Safari/537.36 Did this work before? We're developing WebView based app on following environment. ------------------------------------- Android TV Android OS : 6.0.1 Android System WebView : 54.0.2840.85 UA:Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; Android 6.0.1; Nexus Player Build/MOB30G; wv; C02AS) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Chrome/50.0.2661.86 Mobile Safari/537.36 ------------------------------------- >However, we could not reproduce the issue on Nexus5/6.0.1/Webview:54.0.2840.85 & 55.0.2883.36, Nexus 6P/7.0/Webview:55.0.2883.56 with apps Feedly, Musical.ly, login IDs are autocompleted. Is it on the latest version WebView?(Ver.54.0.2840.85) We also can reproduce the issue on NexusPlayer.(WebView Ver.54.0.2840.85) |
