Issue description
UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.28 Safari/537.36
Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Type "a -b" in the omnibox
2. Place the cursor before the "-"
3. Do Ctrl-Backspace or Ctrl-Left Arrow
What is the expected behavior?
The word to left of the cursor ("a") should be deleted, or the cursor should jump to its left.
What went wrong?
The dash is deleted or the cursor is placed between the dash and the "b".
Did this work before? No
Chrome version: 55.0.2883.28 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 6.3
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

As mentioned in the above comment, able to reproduce the issue on Windows 10 for chrome version 54.0.2840.99 [Stable], 55.0.2883.59 [Beta] & 57.0.2926.0 [Canary]. Issue is a non regression since seeing this issue on Windows from M30 - 30.0.1549.0. P.S: === 1. Issue is working fine on MAC and Linux OS as Hitting Ctrl+Left Arrow (Linux) and Cmd+Left Arrow jumps the cursor to the left of alphabet "a". 2. Also hitting Ctrl+backspace(Linux), Cmd+backspace(Mac) deletes the empty space and alphabet "a" Adding appropriate component, moving milestone to M57 and removing bisect label.

Thanks for the report. This sounds like bug 639303, which has more discussion. |
