Issue description

perezju, Have there been changes to chrome and the memoryMetric that might have caused the ref build to stop reporting data?
The chart linked below shows the ref build, background_news_nytimes, and background_news_nytimes_ref. The background_news_nytimes timeseries keep reporting after 3 Nov, but "ref" stopped.
