video tag does not play occasionally when the URL is a 301 redirect mp4 url

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.28 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1.create video tag  
2.put this link in the video http://media.mako.co.il/FrameCapture/FrameCapture.do?format=MED&vcmID=4e2d36d6f3368510VgnVCM2000002a0c10acRCRD&action=trailer&ts=1479206559
3. 

What is the expected behavior?
the video plays the mp4

What went wrong?
the video fails to onerror event although the redirect return 206/200 status with the mp4 tag

Did this work before? N/A 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.99  Channel: stable
OS Version: 6.1 (Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2)

Things seem to be working fine for me on Linux with Chrome 55.

Can you try on Chrome 55 and see if that resolves your issue?

it seems that 55 solves the issue.
is that a known issue or a side effect?
