Unable to reproduce the issue on Ubuntu 14.04 using chrome stable #54.0.2840.100 and Windows-10 using chrome stable #54.0.2840.99 by accessing remote desktop connection. Attached a screen cast for reference. Following are the steps followed to reproduce the issue. ------------ 1. Accessed remote desktop connection from Ubuntu 14.04 by connecting it with win-10. 2. Observed that both mouse and keyboard worked without any issues. Installed #54.0.2840.100 (using deb package from http://www.ubuntuupdates.org/package/google_chrome/stable/main/base/google-chrome-stable). Same problem, mouse works fine but no keystrokes transferred to remote machine. Note that I am using Ubuntu 16.04 not 14.04. Thanks.

Can you clarify what RDP client is being used? Is it Chrome RDP (https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/chrome-rdp/cbkkbcmdlboombapidmoeolnmdacpkch?hl=en-US)? Chrome apps will no longer work on Linux some time next year, so it's unlikely this will be fixed. I suggest you use an alternative Linux RDP client. |
