Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2918.0 Safari/537.36 Example URL: Any video on the internet. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MUO-YH985ts good example thanks to flashing lights Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Have two or more screens (maybe different resolutions? (i do). Different refreshing rates? maybe. 2. Start chrome on one screen, open tab to youtube video (or any other video). Open another tab just to have it there. 3. move the video tab to the second (or third) screen. What is the expected behavior? Screen tearing. I have experienced both horizontal and vertical screen tearing, but right now is mostly horizontal. What went wrong? Videos are unwatchable. Did this work before? No Is it a problem with Flash or HTML5? Both Does this work in other browsers? Yes Chrome version: 56.0.2918.0 Channel: canary OS Version: 10.0 Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 24.0 r0 Have tried disabling Hardware Acceleration, smooth scrolling, enabling them, or any combination of them. I have also tried to change things in nvidia control panel (application part) but it didn't do much.

Wellp, i tried to reproduce it today again, and nothing is happening. No screen tearing. Haven´t changed anything. If i can make it happen again i will record it (although i don´t know if the screen tearing can be seen that way). I use that video at around 1min since there are lots of flashing lights. noticeable specially with the guy that holds the black tshirt with hardwell on it.

thunderelfo@gmail.com, I will resolve this bug as Won't Fix for not. if you see it again, please feel free to re-activate. I also noticed the url you provided is ultra high resolution 4k video. it is known that YouTube 4K vp9 video has performance issue. if you see this issue again, please change resolution to a lower one, e.g 1080p to see if it fix it. it will help isolate the root cause. thanks |
