Issue descriptionTHIS TEMPLATE IS FOR FILING BUGS ON THE ANDROID SYSTEM WEBVIEW. GENERAL WEB BUGS SHOULD BE FILED USING A DIFFERENT TEMPLATE! Device name: Samsung Xcover 3, ASUS ZenPad 3 Android version: 5.0.2, 5.1.1 WebView version (from system settings -> Apps -> Android System WebView): 55.0.2883.45 and 54.0.2840.85 Application: application generated using website to apk Application version: URLs (if applicable): http://websitetoapk.com Steps to reproduce: (1) Update Android System WebView to latest version or to Beta version (2) Open app and enter data in forms, press submit. (3) Click on Form fields again - no form data is suggested. Expected result: (1) Roll back Android System WebView to 46.0.2490.76 (2) Open app and enter data in forms, press submit. (3) Click on Form fields again - previously entered data for given field is suggested. Actual result:

Thanks for the report. A few questions: 1. What app is this in? 2. Does this also happen in Android Chrome? 3. How do you get to that form page? What's the full URL?

I think form data save (autocomplete) is broken pretty recently. I will look at it in the next a few days.

1. Website 2 APK is a windows application that allows people to create Android application that displays their webpage using WebView. 2. No, in Google Chrome everything is fine. 3. Full url is like http://test.domain.com/sheet (I have also tested with HTTPS). It is not a very recent problem. As I stated above 55.0.2883.45 and 54.0.2840.85 both have this issue. 46.0.2490.76 - works fine.
