OS: ChromeOS R56-8980.0.0 (but observed on other version as well)
What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) place new OS on the device, or powerwash it
(2) boot up
(3) chose a wifi to connect to that isn't the 1st one in the list
What is the expected result?
Wifi network chosen should highlight, and be moved to the top of the list
What happens instead?
Wifi network chosen moves to top of the list, but its previous location remains highlighted.
This is confusing, because it implies that we might be trying to connect to a wifi network that we actually are not. Moreover, this is one of the 1st impressions the user gets on a chromebook, so it might have a negative impact on perception of OS and device quality.
Attached is a small video showing the behavior
