Drop-down being cutoff in recent versions of Chrome

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/54.0.2840.99 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Create a drop-down with multiple options.
2. Set CSS as "font: normal normal bold normal 11px / normal Verdana;"

What is the expected behavior?
The dropdown options should be fully visible when selected.

What went wrong?
The drop-down options are not fully visible when selected.

Did this work before? Yes 53.0.2785.89

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 54.0.2840.99  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Chrome Version: 54.0.2840.99 m
Drop-downs are being cut off in recent versions of chrome, this was not happening in 53.0.2785.89 or previous versions, the latest versions have been doing this.
I isolated the basic case in this link: http://codepen.io/RolandoRetana/pen/MbKdxN
Where in older version you will see the whole word of each option, but in recent versions, the word gets cut off.
•	Internet Explorer: Ok.
•	Microsoft Edge: Ok
•	Firefox: Ok.
•	Chromium 53.0.2785.89: Ok.
The issue started in 53.0.2785.101 or 53.0.2785.113, I don’t have 53.0.2785.101 version available to test it.

Able to reproduce the issue on Win7/64 bit - 54.0.2840.87 & 54.0.2840.99

Unable to reproduce the issue on Canary [56.0.2916.0] & Beta [55.0.2883.44]

This is seen on Mac OSX 10.11.6 [54.0.2840.99] & Linux/Ubuntu 14.04 [54.0.2840.100]
