Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2917.0 Safari/537.36

Example URL:

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open http://edition.cnn.com/videos
2. Scrolling

What is the expected behavior?
Smooth scrolling.

What went wrong?
Web page and browser UI blink.

Does it occur on multiple sites: Yes

Is it a problem with a plugin? No 

Did this work before? No 

Does this work in other browsers? Yes

Chrome version: 56.0.2917.0  Channel: canary
OS Version: Ubuntu 14.04 LTS
Flash Version: 

--disable-gpu or --disable-gpu-compositing helps.

Unable to reproduce the issue on windows 7, Linux Ubuntu 14.04 and Mac 10.11.6 using chrome version 56.0.2917.0  and latest canary 56.0.2919.0.Not observed any blink while scrolling the page http://edition.cnn.com/videos.
Please find the attached screen cast and confirm anything missed here.

lof84@ Could you please check the issue on latest canary and update the thread if the issue still persists.

Note: this doesn't appear to be the same as Issue 661715, but I'm linking them anyway. The about:gpu above shows that the GL_KHR_blend_equation_advanced extension is not supported.
