iOS omnibox page suggestions on tablet use info icon |
|||||||
Issue descriptionVersion: 56 OS: iOS 10 What steps will reproduce the problem? (1) Type something in the omnibox until you get a suggest URL completion. What is the expected result? The URL has a page icon. What happens instead? The URL has an info icon. This is probably the same bug as we had on desktop, where we assume the icons for info and page should be the same.

Are you saying that badslava.com in the autocompletion list should *not* have the info (circle i) icon? Looks like these icons are iPad only, i.e. not appearing on iPhone at all.

Yes, this should match desktop. > Looks like these icons are iPad only, i.e. not appearing on iPhone at all. Correct. They only show up on iPad, but not on iPhone in any form factor (e.g. SE, 6, 6+).

I _think_ this has been fixed but I'm not sure. Can someone with an iOS device confirm we now use the page icon on iPhones, not the info icon?

We don't show an icon on iPhone (at least iPhone SE). This issue still persists on iPad.
