Typing w or x as FIRST letter in the address line, crashed Chrome brutally

Issue description

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/55.0.2883.44 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open the browser
2. Type 'w' or 'x' in the address bar
3. Everything crashes

What is the expected behavior?
Total crash

What went wrong?
I don't know

Crashed report ID: no

How much crashed? Whole browser

Is it a problem with a plugin? N/A 

Did this work before? Yes Don't know/ Just found out

Chrome version: 55.0.2883.44  Channel: stable
OS Version: 10.0
Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 23.0 r0

Unable to reproduce the issue with latest Chrome beta i.e., 55.0.2883.44 on Windows 10,7 , Mac and linux. 

 ronen2000@ can you please provide the crash_id which can be found at "chrome://crashes/".

Unable to reproduce this issue, we tested this issue on windows 10 machine with chrome version beta 55.0.2883.44. 
No crash observed on typing keyword 'w' or 'x'


Could you please try this scenario with clean profile without using any apps or extensions in your browser and let us know your observations.

If the issue still persists could you please provide the screencast for this issue.
 ronen2000@ the screenshot doesn't give us the info of the crash_id can you please recheck and provide the crash_id please.

I have found the reason for the problem:

It is an extension called "Trusted Shop extension for Google Chrome".

After I stopped it the problem also stopped (see attached images for more info about this extension.

Added the Extension and tried on Beta version 55.0.2883.52 on Windows 10, 7 and MAC 10.12.1 and eneterd w or x in omnibox. but no crashes were observed.

@ ronen2000: Can you please try adding the extension again and update to latest beta available and help us with the observations.
