Whole browser hangs or crashes when trying to go "back" a page.

UserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/56.0.2906.0 Safari/537.36

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Use the browser normally.
2. Attempt to use the back button, or go back via a hotkey
3. The browser may become unresponsive, and will either crash or need to be ended using the Task Manager.

What is the expected behavior?
The previous page should load.

What went wrong?
The entire browser locks up then crashes.

I generally have quite numerous tabs and windows open. When I restore the session after the crash, it will crash again if I attempt to use "back" on any of the tabs or windows. However, if I restore my pages with an extension like Session Buddy (which does not retain history on each tab) there seems to be no problem for a while.

The crash report ID is actually old, ignore it. This crash is not generating any report.

I am able to reliably reproduce this problem when I restore a single tab from a previous session in which the problem occurred. When I navigate back to a particular page in that tabs history (in this case a Google search result page) the browser will crash. What page I navigate back from is irrelevant, I can continue to browse forward and backward, but any time the browser attempts to load that page (either by hitting back, or by jumping back multiple pages from the back button context menu) the browser will crash.

I am still not sure what creates the problem to begin with, but I am able to repeatedly encounter it once I have a problem item in the history to go back to.

Unable to reproduce the crash on win10 chrome version 56.0.2906.0 and latest dev 56.0.2922.1 - tried to load the google search results page from chrome://history and loads fine without any crash

Could you please replicate the same on a new profile where there are no apps/extensions  and see if issue still exists. You can create a new profile from chrome://settings

Tested in latest chrome dev version #56.0.2924.18 on win 10.0 and not able to reproduce the issue.

@zeel02 : Could you please try as per comment #3 and let us know the observations.
