"Download Video" doesn't work on videos with a blob URL source

2. Right click on video.

Expected:
Download Video is not disabled.

Actual:
Download Video is disabled.

I don't think there are anything we could do. It's blob url, so it could be media source and cannot be downloaded.

This doesn't work on desktop either

This is WAI. We don't download MSE videos.

I'm not sure a user will appreciate the difference here; as far as the user is concerned, MSE videos and non-MSE videos are both video streams. The fact that one isn't savable is non-obvious.

Why can't we read out the blob URL with BlobReader and save the contents of the blob URL?

There is a long-standing debate on why MSE videos cannot be downloaded (BTW, this problem exists on all browsers). We are working with developers to solve that problem using PWAs.
