Regression: Unwanted search results are seen in suggestion list of devtools console

OS:Ubuntu 14.04,Windows

What steps will reproduce the problem?
(1) Launch chrome and open devtools on any page >> Hit any letter say"g" and observe suggestion list.

Expected: Only entries that start with "g" should be seen.
Actual: Instead all the entries that contains "g" are seen.

This is a regression issue broken in M56.

This is a work-in-progress tracked in  issue 660941 . I agree that in case of just one letter fuzzy-autocomplete is misleading and mostly useless.

Using the per-revision bisect providing the bisect results,
Good build: 56.0.2909.0 (Revision: 429737).
Bad build: 56.0.2910.0 (Revision: 430103).

You are probably looking for a change made after 429818 (known good), but no later than 429819 (first known bad).

Still able to reproduce the issue on Win 10.0 and Ubuntu 14.04 using latest chrome version 57.0.2926.0.

einbinder@ Could you please look into this issue.
