Issue description
Steps to reproduce the problem:
Start with a Galaxy Note 4 (or Droid MAXX) running Android 4.4.4.
1. Install CellarTracker app (com.cellartracker.app)
2. Login using test credentials (email me for details) or create an account
3. Switch tab to MY CELLAR
4. Tap "Add to My Cellar" button
Note: you need to hit the "Add to My Cellar" button as quickly as possible for it to repro. You may need to login first, change the home page tab, and then exit the app. Restart it and then you'll be able to tap the button immediately after startup.
These steps are reported by one of our users hitting the bug. I am unable to find a comparable device to test with.
What is the expected behavior?
It should go to an Add to My Cellar screen in the app.
What went wrong?
The app crashes. Here is the crash report from Google Play; there are multiple in case this one is not helpful. This stack report is from a Galaxy Note 4.

How much crashed? Whole browser
Is it a problem with a plugin? No
Did this work before? N/A
Chrome version: 33.0.0.0 Channel: n/a
OS Version: 4.4.4

I realize this is an old version of Chromium, but if you could figure out what's happening from the stack, I'd love to find a workaround in the app or on the device so it doesn't crash.

Webview on 4.4 and prior to that are part of the system and cannot be updated. Since this is a samsung device, I don't think we can even symbolize the stack. So can't do much to help here unfortunately

OK. Any suggestions on how to investigate further? Is there a way to get Samsung to symbolize the stack?

..ask samsung? or you can try reproducing the crash on a L or newer device, with a recent version of webview (m54 is stable currently), and if it still crashes, then we can gather more data and take a look |
