OS: Ubuntu, Mac, Window 10

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. On Gmail, configure email signature on Settings > "Signature:"
2. Click on Compose button
3. On Compose window in body section, do select all that selects the signature and delete it.
4. now continue typing text with space(pressing keyboard space bar) in between.

What is the expected result?
Space should be entered on Compose body section when pressing space key on keyboard

What happens instead?
Nothing happens for space key action - no space is allowed within text until Enter key is pressed.


This issue is reproducible only on Chrome54 and is not reproducible on Chrome53. Tested on Windows10/Chrome53
