Link handling from apps, like Gmail

Steps to reproduce:
Open link from email does not create a new tab in chrome canary, it spawns it's own window and then you use a menu option to open in chrome canary

We are unable to reproduce this on Chrome Canary:58.0.2994.3 Device:Samsung Galaxy/6.0.1 and could u please update with the latest Chrome Canary and let us know?
