Conflict between Chrome hardware acceleration and Nvidia driver 375.70

Reported by adamdick...@gmail.com, Nov 4 2016

Issue description

Chrome Version: 54.0.2840.71

Steps To Reproduce:
(1) Nvidia Gforce graphics card 900 or 1000 series with latest driver 375.70
(2) Have hardware-accelerated video decoding turned on in chrome

Expected Result:
Results in inverted colors, black bars, and general distortion for the first several seconds of any moving media. Problems disappear upon rewinding of video.

Actual Result:

How frequently does this problem reproduce? Problem always occurs until Hardware-accelerated video decoding is turned off.

What is the impact to the user, and is there a workaround? If so, what is
it?
If Hardware-accelerated video decoding is turned off, the problem goes away.

This wasn't routed right, as it sounds like Win/Mac/Linux.

Please file a new issue with full details from about:gpu if problems persist.
