Thanks for checking this out, I sill get those, OSX Version 54.0.2840.87 (64-bit). We've tried on several macs and this seems to be a common issue on those with glitches on animating canvas elements. I have closed in figuring out what triggers those glitches, when I get it to zoom into one pane, I fade the other panes to 0 opacity. When setting opacity to 0.00001 instead of 0, the glitches don't seem to appear anymore. So for some reason it doesn't like animating canvas elements fading to alpha 0.

Here is another interesting looking background image glitch. I've set up a test folder for this with the problematic version as I am going to push a new version to our live server with alpha set to 0.00001 instead of 0 which seems to resolve the issue. http://www.buzzradar.com/test/STAGING/chrometest/

I am not sure if this one is related, used to work fine also, using D3 to animate SVG elements. Works fine on: Chrome PC Canary MAC And all other major browsers Stopped working on Chrome MAC, now the background flickers every now and then when animating the pie charts: http://www.buzzradar.com/test/STAGING/chrometest2/

As it is pointed out, it is working on Canary, so it would have been fixed along the way. So mark this as won't fix. |
