This testing was done using Rahul's 'Test Ble adv' app which was modified to only run in kiosk mode https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/test-bluetooth-app-for-ga/kckmcdkimhlbhmccjbkjbdkmeigfeadl


If you stop the 'Test Ble adv' kiosk app from auto launching during device boot up (ctl + alt + s) and then manually launch the app from the 'Apps' link in the dock, and click on 'Advertise', it does not work. i.e. the app is not able to register advertisements.
