Issue descriptionUserAgent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Ubuntu Chromium/53.0.2785.143 Chrome/53.0.2785.143 Safari/537.36 Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Open the save file dialog (applies to both saving files and whole pages) 2. Drag a non-directory onto the "places" pane 3. Select said non-directory My initial guess was that it was trying to save the file to something other than a directory, though it may also be registering what I did as trying to move a file. What is the expected behavior? An error message objecting to my selection. What went wrong? The browser window vanished immediately. Crashed report ID: no How much crashed? Whole browser Is it a problem with a plugin? No Did this work before? No Chrome version: 53.0.2785.143 Channel: stable OS Version: 3.13.0-37-generic Flash Version: Shockwave Flash 11.2 r999 I'm on LinuxMint 17.1

Don't have LinuxMint available to test and confirm this. @reporter: If possible could you please provide a screen-cast of the issue you are facing to update the behavior of the same on Ubuntu and Fedora. Could you please confirm if the issue is seen on the latest stable version: 56.0.2924.76 also and is this chromium related?

https://youtu.be/5TPvdi1p6i4 I attempted to replicate the issue in Firefox and failed. The behavior is identical on "58.0.3010.0 (Developer Build) (64-bit)". I am not currently able to test it further.
