Android Web Bluetooth chooser doesn't switch to idle state if an item is selected during scanning |
||||
Issue descriptionOn Android, when it is scanning, and found some devices, the chooser shows: "Not seeing your device? Get help" When the scanning is done, the chooser shows: "Not seeing your device? Get help or re-scan." But when it is scanning and found some device, and click the device in the chooser to highlight it, then the chooser will always show: "Not seeing your device? Get help" and will not change to: "Not seeing your device? Get help or re-scan.".

hmm that's weird I remember being able to reproduce all the time. Might be a different issue then. I haven't been able to reproduce on ToT.

fbeaufort: Are you able to repro after the patch that fixes the chooser lag?

Yes. As you can read at https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=665330, I used Chromium 56.0.2921.0. It looks like this patch was introduced in 56.0.2920.0 according to https://chromium.googlesource.com/chromium/src/+/f6c78e7050d893ffb0ccb150efa8d21703593a95/chrome/VERSION

This issue has been Available for over a year. If it's no longer important or seems unlikely to be fixed, please consider closing it out. If it is important, please re-triage the issue. Sorry for the inconvenience if the bug really should have been left as Available. If you change it back, also remove the "Hotlist-Recharge-Cold" label. Not reproducing frequently enough, if it did it would be fairly low priority as the user can easily exit dialog and re-open it from web app. |
