Issue descriptionChrome Version : 56.0.2908.0 (Official Build) e8eaccd054223465b7eb83989b161b9f5574387b-refs/heads/master@{#429486} 32/64-bit OS : Mac(10.10.5, 10.11.4, 10.11.5), Windows(7,8,8.1,10), Linux (14.04 LTS) Precondition : Please make sure that chrome does not have any ‘ad blocker’ installed. Test URL : http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-37847979 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Freshly install chrome and navigate to above URL. 2. In video once advertisement starts playing, click on video fullscreen button and observe the media controller at the bottom. Actual : Media controller is seen chopped on playing the video in full screen mode. Expected : Media controller should be seen properly while playing in full screen mode. This is a regression issue broken in ‘M-54’, below is the Manual Regression range and will soon update bisect info. Good build : 54.0.2838.0 Bad build : 54.0.2839.0 Note : 1. This is resolution specific issue and reproducible only on machines having 1366 x 768 display resolution. 2. In step 2, if advertisement is not displayed then reload the page and follow the further steps as this issue is only seen while playing an advertisement.

AFAICT this media does not use Flash, therefore 414128 is not a likely cause. It would be helpful to know how you determined that 54.0.2838.0 is good but 54.0.2839.0 is bad, on which OS you made that determination, etc.

with response to comment #3 The above issue is reproducible on Mac(10.10.5, 10.11.4, 10.11.5) & Windows(7,8,8.1,10) OS. In good build (54.0.2838.0) on Mac and Windows OS, media controller at the bottom does not appear chopped while advertisement is being displayed in video full screen mode. But in bad build (54.0.2839.0) the media controller gets chopped while advertisement is being displayed in full screen mode. For determination of good and bad build i used Mac and Windows machines. Note : Unable to reproduce the original issue on chromium builds, instead Adobe Flash plugin error is seen. Thank you!

Tested this issue on Windows 7, 10 & Mac 10.11.6 with chrome versions of Good and bad builds mentioned in Comment#0 ,not observed any advertisement while playing the video on below URL. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-37847979 Note: Tested in Corp & Non Corp machines by clearing cookies,cache & without any extensions (fresh install with Clean profile) on machines having 1366 x 768 display resolution. Tried to reload the page multiple times to get the advertisement , still we are unable to get & test this issue. Observation: Media controller displayed properly while playing the video in full screen mode without any chopping. Hence unable to reproduce the issue. Please let me know if i miss anything to reproduce the issue. Thanks in advance.

With response to comment #7 Rechecked above issue on latest canary and dev build but unable to see any advertisement and hence not able to reproduce the issue. Also tried to reproduce the issue with other videos at bbc.com but still unable to see any advertisement. Thank you!
